The Commanding Officer and Staff would like to welcome back our cadets and families for the 2023/2024 training year and hope that you all have had a great summer! Below is the list of events we have planned for September and we hope to see you there.
September 4
We will be doing our Welcome Back BBQ on A Block Parade Square (see map below) along with our parent meetings.
- Please only 1 guardian with each cadet
- ONLY returning cadets (New cadets will be asked to come back Sept 11)
- Dress is civilians
- We need to know by September 1 who will be attending and if there are dietary restrictions.

September 11
First night back all new cadets are welcome!
- Please bring photocopies of your health card and birth certificate
- Dress will be FTU’s for returning cadets
- The location will be building 56 the Conference Center, a big brown building to your right when you turn towards Beaverhall (see map below.)
For returning Cadets:
- For all returning cadets if you missed the welcome back BBQ and your LAST NAME starts with A-M we need you to bring 1 guardian to sign your annual validation forms from 7 pm – 8 pm.
- If your LAST NAME starts with N-Z 8 pm – 9 pm with a guardian
- This will help us stay organized and thorough.
September 23
- Movie in the park South Branch Park (Weather pending)
- Movie: Ghostbusters After Life
- Time: Dusk
- Bring: all the snacks, family, friends and a smile
- This activity is not mandatory, it is a free event put on by the city, we felt it would be a fun way to jump into the year!
September 25
- This will be our first sports and fitness night! More information to come!
September 27
- Support and Sponsoring Committee meeting! All parents, guardians, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and neighbours are invited to join us at 7 pm at Victory Legion! We will be talking about October forward, fundraising and the need for the Cadet Corps to be successful.
